with our reinactment fast approaching I have now finished the scenery, hopefully I will be able to find time to give a full tour once it is set up, but for now this was the final piece to get in place, the village and church of Borodino. No commercial manufacturer does a version of the distinctive Borodino church in 6mm so for some time I have been working from photos to design one in CAD for printing out on card. This is the result. It came out bigger than I expected and is rather large compared to the size of the battlefield, in retrospect I probably should have made it about two thirds the size but have run out of time to redo it. If I get time I will try and work the pattern into something usable to print out and post it on here.

| Under construction. The onion domes were made out of green stuff. Most of the rest was designed in a CAD package and printed out on card, although much of the roof was done by cutting bits of card up by eye. Acrylic sealant has been applied as a filler and to flesh out the roof. |
